Resort at the Mountain

Located just an hour from Portland in the beautiful highlands of Mt. Hood, the Resort's 27 holes of golf are surrounded by the Mt. Hood National Forest Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness and are bordered by the nationally designated "Wild & Scenic" Salmon River. From the most forgiving "Thistle Nine," to the region's oldest course, the "Pine Cone Nine," to the signature course, the "Foxglove Nine," the Three Nines provide an unmatched golf experience for well-intentioned beginners, seasoned pros, and anyone in between.

A Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, the Three Nines combine a commitment to the environment with a tribute to the Scottish origin of Golf.

Throughout the course and The Resort, you will see many authentic Scottish touches including "Scottish Bunkers," Scottie dog tee markers, and Scottish clan crests, all creating a memorable highland ambiance reminiscent of the birthplace of golf.

The Resort is also dedicated to fostering and preserving the Three Nines' vibrant ecosystem, and a talented and dedicated staff carefully manages the course environment. For example, while golfing you will see the results of The Resort's award-winning efforts in restoring bird and fish habitat along the Wee Burn stream, a tributary to the Salmon River that meanders through the course.
