I'll be the first to admit that I didn't think Tiger Woods would win the US Open.  I believed he would likely make the cut, but I never would have thought that he'd win it.

Could I have been more wrong?

The world's greatest golfer proved again that he has another set of gears that no one else does.  It's something all the great athletes have and Tiger proved that no one else in the world can touch him.  Although, Rocco Mediate gave him a good run for his money.

What's next?  Will Tiger tame the British Open again and finish off the season with a win at the PGA Championship?  If he can hang tough on a sore knee and play 91 holes to win the US Open, I don't think it's out of the question that he could win at least one out of the next two majors.

As for the rest of the field.  Good luck next time.
