Dancin' Dogg Golf Simulators

The Portland area is full of great golf courses, making it easy to find one that will challenge golfers of any level. More and more courses are gaining national recognition because of the USGA or PGA events being held there. The US Amateur, Women's US Open and several other USGA events have been held at Pumpkin Ridge; and, the Champions Tour plays each year at The Reserve Golf and Vineyards

Here are just a few of the courses we include in our trips:

  • Langdon Farms -- This course was designed by award-winning architects John Fought and Robert Cupp and shares course architecture traditions with great courses from around the world.

Langdon Farms has made a name for itself by hosting numerous USGA qualifier events, the Oregon high school championships and several other high-caliber tournaments.

  • OGA Golf Course -- The Oregon Golf Association is one of the few associations in the US to have its own course. And this track has been loved since the beginning, earning 4.5 stars from Golf Digest's Best Places to Play and also being called one of the Top 10 affordable places to play.

The course is nestled in a beautiful setting, with the front nine and several back nine holes cut from working Hazelnut Orchards. Water, sand and plenty of OB await errant shots.

  • Ghost Creek at Pumpkin Ridge -- Hailed as one of the nation's premier semi-private golf courses, Ghost Creek's Robert Cupp-designed layout emulates traditional golf course architecture with gently rolling terrain and a creek that reappears throughout.

Ghost Creek was home to the NIKE TOUR Championships in 1993 and 1994 and was rated in 2005 in Golf Magazine's Top 100 Places You Can Play.

  • Stone Creek -- Stone Creek Golf Club is a Peter Jacobsen/Jim Hardy designed course. The course is scenically designed and offers spectacular views of Mt. Hood. The course is laid out over 120 acres of land with old-growth Douglas Firs, lakes, four wetlands, and forty-three bunkers.

One of the best things about Stone Creek is the difference between the front nine (a links style) and the back nine (a traditional NW style), making it feel like playing two courses in one.
