Amazing Golf Courses and Resorts in Central Oregon

Oregon's High Desert is home to over 30 golf courses, including Sunriver's Crosswater. Each of these spectacular golf courses offer views of Mt. Bachelor, the Three Sisters, Mt. Jefferson and several other dramatic scenes, all while winding through ancient Juniper forests.

As a special treat, players will notice that their ball travels just a little farther than it would on the coast or in other parts of the region. Courses in Central Oregon are also available for play throughout most of the year.

Widgi Creek Golf Club

Last Updated Nov 2008

Nestled among the giant Ponderosa pines in the Deschutes National Forest...Between the snow-capped peaks of the Cascades and the spectacular Deschutes River...Minutes from a bustling and hip city filled with unique eateries, galleries, shops and more...In the middle of everything that is Central Oregon.

That's where you'll find Widgi Creek.

That's where you'll find 18 golf holes on the top of many visitors and locals "Must Play" lists each year. That's where you'll find a challenging 6,900-yard Robert Muir Graves-designed course with tight fairways, undulating greens and some of the best scenery you can imagine on a golf course. And that's where you can find a golf club where friends and families can enjoy relationships that go beyond golf - relationships that last a lifetime.

It isn't enough that we think Widgi Creek offers some of the best golf in a region saturated with excellent and well-reviewed golf courses. What matters is that the people who play Widgi Creek feel the same way. That's why we're proud that Widgi Creek was named "Favorite Golf Course" by the readers of the Bend Bulletin in 2006. What's more, readers of The Source, Bend's free weekly newspaper, have voted Widgi Creek their favorite golf course seven of the last eight years. Golf Digest rates us annually among its "Best Places to Play," and in 1995 the course was named among the best "new courses" of the year.
